Excursions, guest speakers and in-school performances extend and enhance classroom programs and activities and further support student learning. We are very keen to ensure we provide every opportunity to enhance our learning environment and offer Dederang students as many new and interesting experiences as possible.

From time to time staff and parents volunteer to drive students to excursions to save expensive bus costs. This only happens with your written consent. Please supply us with the correct seat restraint your child requires when travelling in private vehicles.

Volunteer drivers must also file a copy of their valid driver’s licence and current comprehensive insurance policy with Noelene at the office before they can transport students other than their own.

All volunteers require a current WWCC (Working With Children Check) and applications will be sent home to all families in Term 1 if we do not have a current WWCC on file. Volunteer WWCC are free except for the cost of a photo and can be filled in online.
