Our school prides itself in providing a safe and orderly learning environment which emphasizes the heritage and character of the school, whilst ensuring students are able to access equipment and materials for 21st Century Learning.
In addition to our purpose-built double classroom, we have a specialist art, technology and science room, fully equipped music and performing arts room, library, a well-equipped gymnasium that students access daily during lunch and recess as well as during timetabled sport and PE, and an outdoor kitchen with BBQ and cooking facilities that students access daily during our daily breakfast program and during cooking classes.
The school has an integrated kinder / long day care and a space purposely set up for our Out of School Hours Care Program.
Behind our striking blue wren, you will note our spacious and welcoming school grounds consisting of many natural play spaces for exploration and creative play.
Our Nature Conservation Area consisting of a shallow and seasonal creek is our Nature Playground space – utilised for teaching and learning and free play. Our students conduct Water Watch activities in our creek and work closely with Landcare to maintain creek health.
We have a student created edible garden, Indigenous garden, butterfly garden, mud kitchen and a range of loose parts and items to encourage curious and creative play.
When appropriate we tap into our immediate environment to offer rich, real world connected learning for our students.
