Dederang Primary School is proud of its long association servicing the Dederang community with some second and third generation family members continuing the family tradition of education at the school.

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined based on your permanent residential address.
Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.

Dederang Primary School holds a transition day for prospective enrolments in late term 3. Tours may also be requested following the transition day, depending on availability of staff and timetabling, should you have missed the transition day. What you need to do:
Enrolment applications submitted after the 1st of September will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.
For children enrolling in other year levels, we are happy to organise for he or she to spend some time in our classrooms, before commencing with us. We offer a transition morning in December (Statewide transition day) or we can easily coordinate half or full transition days prior to enrolment start date.
